1940s PLVMB PLOMB TOOL MOBILE PRESSTEEL ROLLING TOOL BOX POST-WWII TRIM COLLECT

  
Well-used Plomb Tool Mobile, later model Made by Pressteel sometime post WWII mid to late 1940s. This box observes the following traits. Repaint effacing the original Plomb Tool Mobile logo, (although it may be possible to revive it with lacquer thinner).

Spot weld top right corner. A metal frame has been custom built with casters to hold the box, not sure if original casters. 1 drawer divider has been welded in. The bottom cover is not perfectly straight.

A couple dings, but no observable dents larger than a quarter. There is no visible rust pitting. The drawers slide in and out normally on rollers.

Other irregularities include a hook that appears to have been welded on top left front, and a hole on the top right front corner, hole in top left surface plate, and missing locks. Overall, the box is structurally sound and all the parts are included. I honestly don't know what the appeal here is.

It's like a bulky filing cabinet.
