Veteran Car Running Board Solid Brass Toolbox or Similar. Box possibly running board toolbox or similar. Very well made with soldered copper rivets. Hinged lid with 2 cast brass stay bars, large hasp and staple and a half round water channel along the hinged lid joint. Would look great on a Bentley, Rolls Royce, Packard, Stanley or any Veteran car or truck with running boards, would even suit a old Steam Traction Engine or Roller.

Probably dates before 1913 as brass was stopped from car use at the start of WW1. Approx Size Overall length 22½" Height 9½"(+1" fold on the bottom) Depth 10".
